HELLO!!! My name is Thomas Young. I'm so smart, not to brag or anything.... I was the father of modern physics. Being of course a British chap in the 1600s, my argument that light was a wave was highly respected. See my experiment in this youtube video below!

I was the cool kid in school. I'm also really groovy because I discovered that light comes in packets of energy that are proportional to the light's frequency. I called them photons. Yep, that's a mouthful- a mouthful of knowledge.
Quantum is the phenomenom in which through the oscillation of particles in a medium, energy is carried from one point to another.
