The Sun is considered the center of the solar system All of the eight planets revoleve around the Sun It is not the largest star, but from Earth it appears to be the largest brightest star in the solar system It contains 98 % of the Solar System's Mass combined It can hold up to 1 . 3 million Earth's inside of it Temperatures are up to 11,000 degrees fahrenheit Nuclear reactions happen every second on the surface The Sun is constantly getting brighter The sun consists of sunspots that appear as tiny dark spots on the photosphere of the Sun with a constant temperatre of about 7,000 degree fahrenheit The Sun has been around for 4.6 billion years. and it has enough to go another 5 or so billion years longer It takes 25-36 days for the Sun to rotate once
