Food Production: Due to the climate variation from eastern Bolivia to western Bolivia, the types of food grown there will vary as well. In the west where the air is thin and dry, and the temperatures are cool, soil and weather are not suited to grow fruits and vegetables like corn in the warm, moist climate to the east. Instead, those in the west will rely on fish from Lake Titicaca, animal meat, and what crops they can grow there, like potatoes, and peppers.
