Bernoulli's Principle
By: Hope A.
Bernoulli's Principle states the pressure in a fluid decreases when the speed of the flid increases. This means that the pressure and the speed (velocity) are directly proportional to eachother. This means that when one of the two increases than the other decreses and vise versa.
Daniel Bernoulli was a Netherland born Dutch-Swill mathematician. Born on the 29 of January in 1700, Bernoulli lived to be 82 years old. In his life time, Bernoulli, wrote three books and multipul articles. Bernoulli came up with his principle in 1738 and is still wordly used as you can see here.
This video is showing students using the Bernoulli Bag. The bag demonstrates the principle while being fun. When the studends hold their mouth away from the bag and blow into it the pressure around the bag decreases allowing the air to rush into the bag and fill it up much faster than if you were to hold the bag up to your mouth and blow.

This is another demonstration of Bernoulli's Principle in action. When the little boy blows between the two ballons he creates an are of low pressure casung the ballons to move into the area of low pressure Which drwas the ballons together. Flickr Creative Commons
