PIP'S SONG LIST
Who Am I? - Newfound Glory This song describes Pip's life in two ways. The first way is how the artist wonders who he is and what happened in his life that made him feel that way, just like Pip towards the end of the book. Another way is the way the artist is hoping that his life won't stay the same way forever. Pip wants his life to change; he wants Estella to be his.
THis is Your Life - Switchfoot This song describes how Pip's life ended u far from where he thought it would. He asks himself if he is who he thought he wanted to be. It describes how he feels that he messed up his life.
My Happy Ending - Avril Lavigne This song shows how Pip thought he and Estella were meant to be but didn't end up together. Estella was everything that Pip wanted. Estella was pretending to like him all for so long, and he feels betrayed. This refers to the original ending.
Kiss Me, Diss Me - Home Grown This song describes how, when Pip was a young boy, Estella let him kiss her and then ignored him for all those years and then in the end, she says 'she misses him'. It also shows how Estella used Pip and took advantage of his love and lust.
Everything You Ever Wanted - Hawk Nelson This song describes the misery Estella caused Pip. Pip tried to be just what Estella wanted, but she still didn't love him.
