As you can see in the map above Israel's elavation varies between 100 to 1,000 meters
The picture above shows a sand dune. The sand dune above is called the Ashdod Sand Dune. Sand dunes in Israel are hard to find. The city is replacing all of them. This sand dune has been made into a national park and is over 11 square kilometers.
Above is the Jordan River. The Jordan River separates Israel and Jordan. The river also is good for drinking water and for the crops.
The Negev desert fills up over half of Israel . The desert is known for its soil and rockyness. The Negev comes all the way up to the border of Jordan . Negev is arid and ussually compared to the Sahara.
