Rotary Cam Rotary cams are usually spun by turning a handlebar. The cam moves in a circular motion , causing the toy to move up and down. They are often made in different designs. E.g. Pear cams, Snail shells, etc.
Oscilliating cams Oscilliating cams are the cams that move like pendulums. They cause the toy to move in a pendular motion too. The cam relies on the weight of the toy to move. Some Oscilliating cams at home are: Grandfather Clocks.
