Am I a Nerd...
If I brush my teeth three times a day? If my favorite subjects in school are math and science? If I still write my name with his? If I sleep with my baby blanket? If I carry a calculator in my purse year round? If I can't talk to a guy? If I keep all of my fortunes from cheap fortune cookies? If I am so obsessed with a baseball team that I keep their schedule along with wins, losses and record on the back of my binder? If I keep a water bottle with me to make sure I get my daily hydration, not for personal thirst? If I carry deodorant? If I meet this amazing guy and get my heart broken in the same night? If my truck is the oldest in the student parking lot? If I daydream in class and still end up with a 4.0? If I change my underwear twice a day? If I get a new outfit than model it for my parents? If I talk to myself? If I shower daily? If I laugh in my sleep? If I can't help but talk to my mom about everything? If I think I will die old and alone?
If I can multiply 372 and 64 in my head? If I prefer frozen yogurt instead of ice cream? If I feel alone and like I have no friends all the time? But hey, if we are all the latter then we are all together, aren't we? Then it's not so scary. But, if you don't feel that way, then why aren't you more compassionate toward the person who does feel that way? Even nerds need friends you know...
