The Garden They say the soul Is like a garden Which grows Thoughts and feelings That are watered with Imagination until they grow into Trees that bear the fruit of Ideas and when they are ripe they support Inspiration until we plant the seeds and Start again in the garden of the Soul (A poem inspired by the apple tree gardens of Virginia)
Whipped Cream Creamy and white Heaven's Delight Spray it on pancakes or strawberry pie Stack it on ice cream or pastrami on rye Whatever you use it for It'll still be a treat Just the same old whipped cream, Frosty and sweet!
Life is made of Days, weeks Mountains, creeks Months, years And so many tears Laughter, love The skies above Pencils and pens Fives and tens Popcorn and candy
Isn't life dandy? Anger and hate Destiny and fate Color and touch And fighting so much Family, friends Fun that never ends Art, books Amazing cooks
