Animal Farm is a political baaok about different types of government, which are represented by animals.
The characters are. . . Bluebell, Jessie, Pincher -dogs Boxer, Clover -cart horses Muriel -white goat Benjamin -donkey, oldest Old Major -wise head, pig assorted pigs, sheep, other horses, other dogs, hens and chicks, and cows.
The animals kick Mr. Jones off of the farm, and run the farm by themselves. They build a windmill to generate power; eventually it is blown up. Once a pig was thought to go against the rules, and was run off the farm by some dogs.
This book was written by Eric Blair under the penname of George Orwell. It was started in 1943. It's first Signet printing was in March 1956. Orwell called Animal Farm ''a fairy story''. At first reading the book, it may seem that it is just a story, but on further looking into, one may find that all of the animals, or groups of animals, represent something or someone. It is a good book that many paople should read.
