Character Glog Thoughts Petruchio was elated when he succeeded in marring Kate He was well pleased when Kate finally super seated her will to him Feelings I felt that Petruchio was a little harsh on Kate at the wedding recital. But then at the end I felt as if he was a true man for taming the shrew that was Kate. Actions Through Petruchio’s actions I can deduce that he normally gets what he wants. He fell in love at first sight and wanted Kate, which in the end he got Relationships Petruchio is not into relationships but he makes an exception with Kate. He fell for her head over heels. It is this devotion that keeps him attracted to her. Hopes/Dreams Petruchio’s hopes were to marry and become rich like his father. He has accomplished this in both regards.Petruchio yourself1) Gentlemen, importune me no farther, For how I firmly am resolved you know: That is, not to bestow my youngest daughter Before I have a husband for the elder.
