A voice calls my name and brings me out of my mind From the darkness I can see the light from behind Running in circles is what I’ve been doing Going forward then back, it’s so confusing Tiered and weak from the long days Hearing this melody brings me out of my daze The hole in my heart stings and burns But the voice cools it in return This pain I feel is becoming strong To love another why does it seems so wrong? Feeling as though I belong with someone else But afraid to let go of you and be by myself Years of reliance has left me week But I feel my strength grow from the words he speaks Tears have dried and stained my face From this heart brake I have had to face So please patch these wounds though they may never heal We can have each others hearts so love, we will again feel
