We went to Townsville, where we explored Queensland's nightlife. The road led us further to Airly Beach. Here, we cruised on a sailing boat around the Whitsunday Islands, and dived the Great Barrier Reef! We spent a couple of days in Mooloolaba, where we strolled past the beaches and visited Underwater World: the greatest aquarium of the southern hemisphere. We burned ourselves on both sides in the surfer's village Byron Bay, and did some bushwalking to Australia's most easterly point: Cape Byron and its lighthouse. The last day we lunched in Newcastle and arrived in rush hour Sydney...
Our roadtrip started up North in Cairns. We visited the rainforest, the Barron River and the Josephine Falls. Unfortunately, our car got crashed in Mission Beach, so we were bound to stay there for a week. We had fun swimming in the sea and playing poker with the locals, but when we found a car we hurried South.
