The Western Front
The western front is where the germans and the french. Both dug trenches, which became known as trechwarfare. It was a waiting game.
The trenches was surrounded by barbed wire that was 5 ft high and 30 yards long. There is a strip of land between both trenched called no man's land. And you were dead if you went out there. Trench warfare became a very elaborate system of defence.
