YOU ARE A WITCH!
Abigail creates controversy in the town after her cousin and her are caught in the woods dancing with their friends by her cousin's father, Parris. Soon people are talking about witchcraft and that the girls are bewitched. Abigail, frightened, starts to accuse certain towns people of being witches and that she had seen these people with the Devil. When Abilgail realizes that this could ruin John Proctor's wife's life and could possibly kill her, she targets Elizabeth Proctor with hopes that she will end up with John Proctor, the man she is obsessed with and has been with in the past in an afair. So she claims she has seen Elizabeth Proctor with the Devil and that she even went as far as claiming that she had come to her in her sleep and afflicted her. John is now stuck with the town thinking that his wife is a witch plus this young girl's obsession with him.

As the story goes on, Abigail and her friends continue to accuse others of bewitching them. The two people that are most affected by this phenomenon are Elizabeth and John Proctor.
