1862 through 1865 a young woman during this time tried to keep her people alive, although a cannon ball tore through her skirt, she still rushed to the aid for the people that were hurt. She founed the American Red Cross and held back her tears after every major loss. Even though, there were bullets popping all though the sky, one thing you might not know - she was a spy. Last but not least, she was teacher and a nurse - she wored for the better to eliminate the worst.
