Julius Ceaser
Julius Caesar had about evry title in the Roman Rebublic including consul, tribune of the people, high commander of the army, and high priest.
On the Ides of March, 44BC Julius was assassinated by a conspiracy of senators. They attacked him, because the senates were threatened when the people proclaimed Julius as a dictator for life. The senators didn't want to return to the time of dictators and kings. They were planning to assassinate Julius at a Senate Meeting. The night before Julius was supposed to go, his wife had a dream the he was at a meeting with blood streaming down his face. She begged him not to go.
Julius was born in Rome on 12 or 13 July 100BC. He stayed in government of Rome for 8 years.
Fun Fact: The Romans named the month July after Julius Caesar.
Julius entered Rome with the Roman Legion. Not caring that he was breaking the law. This turned alot of people against Julius, and gave him several enemies.
