Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favour fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
Fire and Ice
Robert Frost
I chose this poem because it rhymes. I also chose it because it has a meaning to Fire and Ice. It says that Fire isn’t the only thing that can be harmful but that Ice can be just as powerful and that if the world was to die he would go whit fire but if the world was to die twice he would first go with fire and then with ice.
I chose this picture because it shows fire and above the “ice”. It shows that both are the same but different at the same time. I chose the colors because the red color represents the Fire and the blue color represents the Ice.
Alliterations
Ryhme Scheme: “From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favour fire.” Ryhme Scheme: “I think I know enough of hate. To Say that for destruction ice is also great.” Repetition: “Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice.”
