Kent State Massacre
Forces necessary? No there was no need to open fire on the students.It left 9 wounded and 4 DEAD 2 of the people that died were not a part of the protesting!!! The shooting not needed. Or the tear gas it mad the student upset and angry they didn't hurt anybody!!
Who: National Guardsmen, Ohio Guards, Kent state students, Pres. Nixion. What: Kent state anti- war protest. When: May,4,1970. Where: Kent State Ohio. Why: Students Started to protest about an anti-war due to the Vietnam war.
BackGround: Students at Kent State started to protest against war. President Nixion wanted to send the Guardmens to stop it,Ohio, National Guard came. Tear gas was thrown most of it was thrown back with rocks to the Guardmen.. Later gunfire was open fired, guards claim it was for 13 seconds others said 1 minuet. This left 9 wounded and 4 DEAD!!!
13 students wounded and dead. Date was May,4,1970. Kent State University Ohio were the tradgey happened. Guardmens fired lasted 13 seconds other say 1min.
