This man is Lao Tzu. he could very well be the founder of Daoism. The story with him is that he was veturing through the mountains when he came to a mountain pass. The guard has heard stories of him, and fearing that he would die, he persuaded Lao Tzu to write down all of his thoughts in a book known to us as 'The Way of the Dao' or Tao Teh Ching.
Daoism
I think a person that greatly represents daoism is the Dalai Lama. He always believes in doing things in their own pace rather than always rushing.
I find this song very daoist becuase if you listen there talking about doing things slowly, calmly., and carefully.
This is an example of some toaist yoga. As you can see it is nothing like japanese kung fu, but very slow and calm.
Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. -Lao Tzu. This means that you must never believe you know everything, or it will all go wrong.
