In a topsy turvy world Little girl wonders Alone through the darkness and madness Meeting creature after creature Each strange and wonderful Each understanding her pain When she walks towards a white light Uncertain and unsure of wonders it holds Disappointed when she is brought back to Earth Her time is done there Her sin repaid One week later she misses the wonderland Every time she lays her head down to sleep it’s there Clearer than ever Every time she pictures her wonderland a strange sickness looms over her The home sickness Missing her home so much she commits the greatest sin of all Creeping behind her mother that night As the blood ran through the carpets she felt a great triumph Waiting to be scorned to her wonderland forever And suddenly she falling Down Down Down Until she gone through the ground Slipping back into the shadows of the dark Her home As if she had never left Back again for good
