A little girl and her grandad Walking hand in hand Letting the sun warm their faces Their eyes twinkling with excitement That was another era A happier one Now she walks alone With her head down She sits beside the gravestone Sobbing and Weeping As she remembers Her and her grandads happy memories Each memory sends a wave of hurt Through her fragile body How she wished he was somehow here again How she wished she could turn back time Instead she sits alone Grieving by her grandfather gravestone
