Simple Plan is a pop punk band formed in Montreal in Canada in 1999. The band achieved success in 2002 edition of the album "No Pads, No helmets ... Just Balls" after more than 11 months without any support from radio or television.
All members are French-Canadians. The band has released three studio albums of: No Pads, No helmets ... Just Balls (2002), Still Not Getting Any ... (2004) and Simple Plan (2008), a live album: MTV Hard Rock Live (2005), a DVD: A Big Package For You (2003) and an EP: Live In Japan (2003).
