SUMMARY... If Henry David Thoreau was aware of things that people in today's world are doing, he would be very disappointed. People today are making poor decisions in their lives and are setting bad examples for other people in the world. Thoreau's beliefs on making individual decisions are the exact opposite of the decisions portrayed by the people who are the subjects of these articles.
