Piaget's Sensorimotor Period
Stage 3: (4-8 months) Acts intentionally to produce results, improves hand-eye coordination
Children learn through their own actions & senses
Stage 4: (8-12 months) Begin exploring their environment, imitate observed behaviors
Stage 2: (1-4 months) Combines 2 or more reflexes, develops hand-mouth coordination
Stage 1: (birth-1 month) Practices inborn reflexes, doesn't understand self as a seperate person
