there are 3 main types of clouds 1.cumulus 2. stratus 3. cirrus each cloud brings different weather cumulus- they look cotton piles/marshmellows and they bring nice weather stratus- it covers most of the sky and they thicken and it causes rain, snow, sleet, hail and freezing rain cirrus- form above 6km temps are low and it is mostly made out of ice
