When babies are born the amount of water in their bodies is approximately 75 to 80% water and as humans grow older this percentage decreases until the percentage is reduced to approximately 60 to 65% for men and 50 to 60% for women!!
Women have a higher percentage of adipose tissue than men, giving them a lower percentage of water. Adipose basically means fat, so this would mean fat tissue!
Our energy level is iimpacted by our consumption of water. It has been medically proven that just a 5% drop in our body fluids will cause a 25 to 30% loss of energy in most people, a 15% drop causes death! It is also estimated that more than 2/3 of all people do not drink enough water and suffer dehydration.!
You can go three days without water. You should drink water everyday to stay healthy and well hydrated.
