STOP ANIMAL TESTING
Hundreds of millions of animals all around the country are subjected to violent and uneccessary torture. At the University of North Carolina, laboratory mice have their toes amputated without anesthesia simply to more easily differentiate them from other mice. Dogs at the Iams' Pet Food research laboratories live in steel solitary cages and have their vocal cords cut only so their barking doesn't distract the scientists. Just because animals can't say they're in pain doesn't mean they aren't. To respond to their cries, please watch www.petatv.com and visit www.peta.org.
Mar's Candy, the makers of M&M's, Snickers, Twix, Dove, Three Musketeers, Starburst, and Skittles, submit animals to cruel and unusual testing including force-feeding and lethal injections and incisions. Hershey's Chocolate has pledged never to test on animals in any way. Please only purchase Hershey's Chocolate products and visit www.MarsCandyKills.com for more info.
Many animals suffer emotional damage and insanity from years of solitary confinement, torture from crippling side effects of tests, and death, from scientific research conducted nationwide. A staggering number of these tests, however, are deemed unethical as they either do not result in any facts being proven. Many animals differ so dramatically from humans, such as rats, that most conclusions based on such animals don't prove to be true to humans. Mice aren't tiny men. Stop this needless violence. Visit the Humane Society of the United States at www.hsus.org to learn how you can help fight this battle for those who can't.
