Value - Image 2: White is added to the image background to create a 'tint'.

Color - Images contain a Triadic color scheme that includes the primary colors red, yellow, and blue.

Line - Images include lines. - Diagonal dotted lines - Shapes are created with lines of dots - The diamond shapes form lines

Texture - Image 3: By adding lines to simulate layers and 3-D feature to diamonds, texture is implied.

Shape/Form - Images include a square background and design includes two different sizes and shapes of diamonds (or two triangles joined at the base)

Space - Images are presented on a white canvas.

Balance - Objects within image are centered

Repetition - Elements within image are repeated

Contrast - Image includes lines of two different weights and shapes of two different sizes.

Unity - All elements and principles compliment each other to create harmony.
