He was born Feb. 12, 1809.
Lincoln was 6'4, making him the tallest president.

I think his greatest contribution was to the Civil War, and his use of the telegraph. The White House had no telegraph connection.. He used the telegraph to help win the war. He was fascinated by it. He developed it into a political and military tool.
