The Black Death
The conditions for the people were very bad. Every person was sick with the bubonic plague. People with the disease had giant buboes (swellings) on their bodies. It was a 100% chance that their condition would be fatal.
There were many consequences from the black death. About 75-200 million people died from the epidemic, which is about half of Europe's population. The economy starts to suffer because of the loss of population. Many workers and employers died. Many people wanted higher wages, so an inflation occurred. Because of the rough economy and falling population, it would take more than 100 years for Europe to recover.
