The Silk Road
The silk road is an interconncted network of trade routes across the Asian area. The reason this road was created is it was for money, trading goods, and to increase the power of China.
There were many consequences from the Silk Road. The silk trade increased many foreign merchants into China, exposing both the Chinese and visitors to their country to different cultures and religions. Because of trade across the Silk Road, Buddhism spread from India to China.
The travelers had to use mules and horses to carry a large numbers of goods from country to country.
