Why integumentary is important?
Nail is part of skin. Nails are important because it helps protect the sensitive and delicate nail bed.
Hair is a modified type of skin. Hair grows everywhere on the human body except the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, eyelids, and lips.
Skin is elastic, thus permitting change in body without injury.
