What DID tyranno prey do? Depended on what they could do. Did tyranno prey survive? Not many, but hey. Did tyranno survive? But how DID some prey survive? I want to know.
After being tormented by the most intimidating bully named Richie, Russell Trainor decides to think of a way to change his misfortune. He calls the one student he believes will be able to help him, Elliot. Since Elliot is a student that everyone and everyone can pick on or bully, he has a lot of experience. Russell and Elliot team up and are quickly joined by another student who wants to take a stand against the bullying. Using the school’s networking system, which allows students to send messages to each other, the three friends send stories to the entire school shining light on the true stories of bullying. Through this new medium, the school’s eyes begin to open to the reality of how this bullying is negatively affectively people’s lives. This book shows how three innovative, determined students made a difference in their school by taking a chance to broadcast the real stories of bullying.

Possible Activities: Have students write their own stories of bullying and share them in small groups or as a class. Create a class-made newsletter, highlighting what students are learning in class, current events that affect them, and anything else students want to share with each other.
