Walt Elias Disney Birth date: December 5, 1901 Death date: December 15, 1966

Walt Disney was the creator of Mickey Mouse, Disneyland, Walt Disney world. Walt Disney grew up on a farm in a town called Marceline, Missouri. He started drawing and selling his pictures when he was only seven years old. He went to Mckinley High School in Chicago and took many classes on photography and arts. While he was in school, he took classes in the Academy of Fine Arts. Walt Disney was in the army in 1918 for a short amount of time. When he came back from the war he started his career as an advertising cartoonist. His first original animated cartoon was created and marketed in 1920. He started his career by going to hollywood with 40$ in his pocket and a finished animated, live action film. His Brother helped him out by giving him some money and creating a camera stand in his garage.. After he made his first film his career went foward with nothing to stop it..

Snow White

Snow white and the seven dwarfs was an animated muiscal premeired at the Carthay Circle Theare in Los Angeles.. It was Walts full-length film.

''Still, Walt felt that it was possible to build a different kind of park...a ''themed'' park that had fun attractions and a beautiful atmosphere...a park that wouldn't decline into an ugly, gaudy, cheap place...a park that ''would never be completed -- as long as there is imagination in the world."'' Walt Disney used the television to help him finance his parks. He made the parks right in the middle of Los angeles. There was a very big population in that area, so he was using his head. Disneyland had a great affect on all the hotels and resturaunts. Disneyland in CA was to small and constrained, so he moved somewhere where he could branch out and make it very big. He had a fair to raise enough money to make another park. There are minor differences between including the fact that the Disney World in FL is built for more people.
