The Roles of the President Ranked in order from today's perspective 1. Chief Legislator 2.. Commander-in-Chief 3. Chief Diplomat 4.Cheif of State 5. Chief Executive
I think that over the years the president's role as Chief Diplomat has been proven to be the most important. Throughout history we have had problems with other countries which has caused wars.. Being Chief Diplomat, the president has the power to make treaties and agreements with other coutries that would cause peace rather than a war.
I think that today the most importatn role that the president plays is Chief Legislator. With the econmic crisis going on right now it is imperative that there are bills passed and laws passed that will help us get out of this recession before we go into a depression. For example the influence that Obama had on congress helped pass his stimulus package that is going to help boost our economy back to where it should be.
