Stamp Act Colonists were forced to buy a stamp as a tax when they bought British paper products. This act outraged the colonists. The colonists did not want to pay for the stamps. In protest, most of them did not buy Brithish paper products. Finally, the Stamp Act was repealed in 1766.
Paul Revere He was a Boston blacksmith. On his famous midnight ride, Revere notified which direction the british will march. He crossed Charles River in a row boat then rode a horse to Lexington and almost to Concord.
The Boston Tea Party Because the tea made by colonies were being sold cheaper than British tea, British tea was not being bought as much. The British made their tea cheaper causing many colonial tea merchants to go out of business.Some of the angered colonists dressed up as native americans and went on to one of the british ships and dumped a lot of tea into the Bost Harbor.
Captain Benjamin Merrill Some people organized the Regulators after being fed up by british taxes. Benjamin was one of the captains. He was also involved in the Battle of Alamance. Unfortunatly, he and 300 other men were captured by brithish troops.
