Conclusion
Overall we feel the Brandt line is becoming more and more faded as countries that were once decribed as L.E.D.C's are quickly becoming more and more developed.
However it is very hard to measure development, afterall, what is development? is it social or economic? Again using patterns of development to compare countries right across the world is difficult as there are so many different beliefs of what development is. It is easy to base patterns of development around how we have developed but this is very eurocentric. China has developed very quickly and very differently to Europe, would that make them more developed?
With the current economic climate in the World. Its a very intresting time for Human Geographers to study Development.
Hopefully stastical data collected by geographers and economists can be used for the best. To help bridge the gap between the richest in the poorest
