buoyancy - the measure of upward force a fluid exerts on an object
ex. the boat is floating because the water is pushing the boat upwards
Viscosity - the ability of fluids to flow
ex. it allows the water to flow like when you pore syrup on a pancake.
Density - larger for liquids than solids
Archimedes Principle - the force exerted on an object by the liquid equals the weight of the fluid that is displayed through an object
Density - how tightly packed the atom of a substance are.
Brittleness - tendent to shatter upon impact
Elasticity - ability to strech and return to normal shape and size
Tensile strenght - measurements of pulling or tension applied before the solid breaks.
Hardness - reistance to scraching
Malleability - ability to be pounded into thin sheet
charles law - temperature does what volume does.
Boyle law - P1 V1 = P2 V2
