The Age of Enlightenment is the era in Western philosophy and intellectual, scientific and cultural life, upon the eighteenth century, in which reason was made as the primary source and legitimacy for authority. This was included in my exhibit because it changed the world into what we now know as the modern era. Advocating inventions, discoveries etc.
Aristotle was born 384 BC and died 322 BC. Aristotle was a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great. Aristotle's writings was the first at creating a comprehensive system of Western philosophy which is why he is included in my exhibit.
The French Revolution began in 1789 with the convocation of the Estates-General in May. The French Revolution was a period of radical social and political chaos in French and European history. Replacement of the French monarchy with a radical democratic republic.
The Scientific Revolution was a period when new ideas in physics, astronomy, biology, human anatomy, chemistry, and other sciences led to a rejection of doctrines The scientific Revolution some say was the bridge that led us to modern science which is why I included it in my exhibit.
