Congress of Vienna
The Congress of Vienna was held in Vienna. It took place from November, 1814 to June, 1815. Its goal was to settle the many issues coming from the French Revolutionary Wars, the Napoleonic Wars, and the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire. The person in charge of the gathering was a man by the name of Klemens Wenzel Prince von Metternich. The congress wished to restore peace.
