Apollo
In Greek he is known as the God of Sun, logic, and reason. The son of Zeus, and the brother of the goddess Artemis and his role as the leaderof the Muses establishes him as a patron of intellectual persuits.
Hephaestus
He was the son of Zeus and Hera, and in other opinions Hera alone. He limped because he was born handicapped, which caused Hera to throw him off Mt. Olympus. Hephaestus accomplished numerous prodigies of craftsmanship, such as the marvelous palaces, and temples that he built for the Gods atop Mt. Olympus, or armor made for the Gods' battle. He also created the first woman, Pandora, at the command of Zeus.
Poseidon
The son of Cronos and Rheia, brother of Zeus, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. Posedion is one of the six orginal Olympians. He was appointed the Lord of The Sea. His mission is to give voice to the earth.
Hades
He is the son of Cronus and Rhea, and the brother Zeus and Poseidon. After dividing creation into thirds between brothers, Hades was made the Lord of the Underworld, ruling over the dead. He is a reedy god, who is concerned with increasing his minions. When the mortals kneeled before the cold-hearted Hades, they could never leave his domain.
