History Soccer began in Ancient China, Europe and America. People kciked a ball around to prepare for war, and simply for entertainment. Many other versions of ball-kicking already existed, the rules of modern soccer were created in 1863 by the English Football Association. Soccer quickly became popular and spead all over the world!
Each position on the field is associated with a specific range of task. 1) Defenders- must be able to tackle the opposition and claim the ball. 2) Midfielders- need to pass the ball accurately to their teammates. 3) Strikers- need to have a good shoot and score goals.
