Refractive telescopes gathers and focuses light. The images are steadier and sharper compared to the reflective telescope due to how the refractice telescope is made. The objective lens are the primary lens that collects more light than the human eye. Light is refracted when it passes through the objective lens thus light waves meet together at a focal point. The eye piece is the secondary lens that form a more refracted and magnified image.
