Your Task:
This years International Social Studies Conference is going to be held in Kenya, Africa!
The first thing your team has to do is to present a PowerPoint presentation to the School Board before they will approve your trip. They want to see a demonstration of your skills in Social Studies in four areas: Geography, World Cultures, Economics, and Civics. They don’t want a simple research report. They have specific questions that need to be answered so that they can be sure that you are prepared for a trip that will take you half way around the world!
Each member of your team is responsible for collecting information and doing research. The four jobs are listed along with descriptions of what is required. After all of your research is done you will have to work together to put together the presentation as a team.
