A Typical McD's Meal
A typical 17 yr old male requires an average of 2800 calories a day. At 1410 calories, this one meal from Mcdonalds uses up just over 50% of my daily calorie intake and 90% of my recommended daily fat intake!! That's just CRAZY!
Not only are fast food meals high in calories and fat, they are also loaded with sodium. This is a problem becuase high sodim diets are associated with numerous health problems including, high blood pressure which increases your risk of heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke. High-salt diets can increase the risk of a variety of conditions, including stomach cancer, cataracts, and osteoporosis
