Nobody remembers that Catholics were in the group, too. They think the pope at the time sided with Mussolini and Hitler. Meanwhile, the Vatican was a refuge for Jews. Not to mention two saints, St. Edith Stein (a Jewish convert who became a Carmelite nun) and St. Maximillan Kolbe died there. Besides, Pope John Paul II was in a clandestine theater group to resist the Nazis.

This is really good,
and yet sad because of what happened. I'm Polish [ not Jew tho ] so it hits close to home.
