Alanna - The First Adventure By Tamora Pierce This book is such a page turner. I never wanted to let go. It describes what this character (and others), Alanna, really wants to do. It goes through the journey of growing up and how hard it is to hide your gender. The description really makes you feel how these characters are feeling. Even though it is a fantasy, it tells you how people would really react to these things. I really enjoyed this book and you should read it yourself too!
This book may soon become a movie!!
