Crooks-is a black men, gets his name from his crooked back. He is isolated from the other men because of the color of his skin. He asks if he can go with them and hoe in the garden at the house of their dreams.
Lennie and George share a vision of a farm that they will own together, a vision that Lennie believes in more then ever.
Lennie is a large, and strong worker. He has a mental disability so he depends upon George for guidance and protection.
These are lennies hands holding a dead mouse. Lennie loves petting soft things, and this gets him in trouble a lot.
To the right is curley's wife. She is The only female in the book. Curley's wife is never given a name in the book and referred to as curleys wife. The men on the ranch refer to her as a “tramp,” and a “tart,”
Candy- is an old man, lost his hand in an accident. He offers his life's savings to George if he can join them in owning the land of their dreams.
Geroge is A small, smart man who travels with, and cares for, Lennie.
