Man O' War

This is a picture of the well known horse of the 20's, Man o' War. He is thought to be the greatest horse of all time. His racing record was 20 wins and 1 second place. He was ridden by Johnny Loftus and Clarence Kummer. He was 16.2 hands which is fairly large for a racehorse. He was also the grandfather of Seabisciut.

Exterminator

Exterminator was another horse of the 1920s. He ran in 100 races and won 50 of them. He won the Kentucky Derby and many other high power races. He raced until he was 9. Which is a long racing career, even today. He died at the age of 30.

This is a video of the 1929 Kentucky Derby. It was won by Clyde Van Dusen.
